“We loved that the hotel is part of a Benedictine monastery.”

“The hotel is outside the city centre, but a 15-minute tram ride gets you to the old town square. The complex is gorgeous—a church, a fantastic restaurant, and still home to 40 monks. It's peaceful and quiet. Our room had a split bathroom (toilet and sink in one room, shower and sink in another), which was great for getting ready. The tram stop is right across the street; tram #22 takes you to the castle in 3 stops or all the way to the old town. Breakfast was Euro-style and adequate. Eat at the restaurant—the food was amazing, one of the best meals I've had in Europe. You can park inside the compound, and the gate is locked at night.”
